It all started when…

Our founder, Todd Finley’s sister went to Hampton University. He fell in love with HBCUs instantly. During high school, Todd’s cousin went to Morehouse so he was exposed to the AUC and an HBCU became the only option.

He later chose to attend Florida A&M.

In 2017, HBCU GRAD was born as an instagram community. Since then we have grown into a multi-platform digital community. We are the fastest growing, most engaged HBCU community on the internet. We strive to represent HBCUs authentically.
